Individuals - Receipt dates for slips

Before you meet with your file manager, make sure you've received all your slips.

The following list shows the deadlines for issuing tax slips, by type of income:

  • Employment income: T4 slips and Relevé 1 / February 28
  • Investment income (non-registered)
    • Dividends, interest and foreign income: T5 slips and Relevés 3 / February 28
    • Realized gains and losses: T5008 slips and Relevés February 18 / 28
    • Trust distributions: T3 slips and Relevés 16 / March 31
    • Limited partnerships: T5013 slips and Relevés 15 / March 31
  • Investment income (registered)
    • RSP: T4RSP slips and Relevés 2 / February 28
      • Except for contributions in the first sixty days of the year / March 31
    • RRIF or LIF or LRIF: T4RIF slips and Relevé 2 / February 28
    • RESP or RDSP: T4A slips and Relevé 1 / February 28
  • If you are a tenant: Relevé 31 / February 28

Toavoid penalties and interest on late payments, the following dates must be respected when making payments to CRA and Revenu Québec:

  • Personal income tax payments / April 30
